“Can it wait? I’m in the middle of some calibrations …” Fans will probably already know what I’m aiming at. This review deals with the video game Mass Effect, an Action Roleplaying Game Trilogy developed by the Canadian company BioWare. On the 23rd of March, Mass Effect Andromeda will be released. Reason enough to dig out the Trilogy and replay it. Although all three games differ in gameplay, graphic and level design, they have something in common: A strongly emotional story with memorable characters. Every situation forces you to make a decision. Sometimes just random stuff and sometimes hard decisions with unknown consequences for the whole universe. Decisions you made in the first part are still relevant in the third part. The player for example must decide to either kill the last fertile member of an insect species or spare it. But can you trust the creature or does it just want to wait for a favorable moment to ambush you? How does the political situation change between humans and other species? It all depends on you, commander.
